Dear Parents.
Here are some dates for your diary for between now and Christmas. Some additions or changes may be necessary however we aim to give as much notice as possible.
- Monday 16th & Friday 20th November Parent/ Teacher Meetings
- November 27th: No uniform Day
Ben Peilow, a past pupil now attending Coláiste Choilm has been chosen as one of 13 students to participate in the India Immersion Project (originally called The Edmund Rice Project) in February 2016. As part of this Ben will travel to Mumbai, India and work with various outreach programmes including The Mother Theresa Centre in Ashadaan, work with the homeless and street children of the Don Bosco shelters and participate in the teaching of English to young people. To show our support, all proceeds of our no uniform day will be donated to Ben for this worthy cause.
- December 6th: Family Fun Day in The Charleville Centre (details to follow)
- December 14th: Panto Trips
Infants, 1st and 2nd will travel to Birr Theatre to see A Hippo For Christmas
3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class will travel to The Moat Theatre in Naas to see Cinderella’s Christmas
(Details and cost note first week in December)
- December 21st @ 5p.m. School Carol Service in St. Catherine’s Church.
(All pupils will participate and we hope to see many parents, grandparents and friends out to support us)
- December 22nd
Holidays : school will close @ 12p.m.
- Please look up the new Bus Éireann policy on Red Alert Weather Procedures for all school bus routes on the Bus Éireann website.
- Music Generation Payment now due (see attached)
If you have any issues with the payment of Music Generation or indeed any monies owed to school please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Mollison where arrangements can be made for payment in instalments or deferred until suitable date.
