Mick Molloy and Mick McEvoy – brave Fire-fighters from Tullamore Fire Station – visited 3rd & 4th Class on 22nd October to give a talk and demonstration on Fire Safety. The children were amazed – and to a certain degree SHOCKED – by the speed at which a fire can spread through a building. The two Micks gave a wonderful demonstration to the class and recounted some thrilling moments in their lives as Fire-fighters. They over-stayed their welcome – actually, the boys and girls had so many questions that they couldn’t leave the classroom!!!
