For the last number of months we have been working on our school garden. 5th and 6th class are mostly in charge of the garden upkeep, however other classes do help out too from time to time. We recently entered the “Woodies Garden Squad” national competition.
We were given a garden pack from Woodie DIY which we planted and we were visited by a man from Woodies who gave us some gardening tips.
We have planted tomatoes, onions, cabbage, mange tout, beetroot to name a few. We have planted many shrubs too and recently the infants planted sunflowers.
