In science, we were investigating how soil sinks to the bottom of a bottle.
We put soil, pebbles, sand and water into a bottle and shook it. The water was very dark and muddy. We left it overnight. Everything settled to the bottom and the ware was almost clear.
This is like what happens in a reservoir.
